One of our largest crowds met March 20 to hear a nine year-old give her inaugural presentation about what it was like to compete and WIN her age division in the Punt, Pass and Kick competition. One would never guess that Samantha Woods was a novice at public speaking. Her presentation was coherent, concise, and extremely entertaining.
Coping with her father’s sometimes erratic slide advancement, she hit her stride in the Q&A session, fielding a question as to her Olympian aspirations with a firm “Yes, responding whether she sees herself as a future Olympian.
