LAKE FOREST, CA — An Orange County father was "extremely relieved" to discover that his daughter was alive, after hearing that she had been killed in Wednesday's night mass shooting at the Cook's Corner bar, the OC Register reported.

William Mosby, of Lake Forest, heard the news when he turned on a television broadcast Wednesday night. According to the report, Mosby said he was "extremely relieved" to learn that his daughter was not dead, though she was brought into Providence Mission Hospital Wednesday night and moved to UCI Medical Center.

“Her friend in the bar said she was shot in the lower jaw," he told the newspaper.
