OC Pride Blazes Forward In 2019 Parade
In memory of Blaze Bernstein, people county-wide marched Santa Ana's 4th Street to Stand Up and Stand Out among the LGBTQ community.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — It was time to be recognized, event organizers say of the 2019 OC Pride parade, held over the weekend.
Named the "Blaze it Forward" parade--in honor of Blaze Bernstein, killed in 2018, and his parents who have pledged to honor his memory through a campaign of the same name--event organizers themed the parade to "Stand Up and Stand Out" according to the OC Register.
Brit Cervantes was Grand Marshal of the event, attended by thousands, along with along with vendors and music.
