Lake Forest Burglary Suspect Apprehended: Cops
Orange County Sheriff's Department helicopter was circling near Rancho Canada Elementary School, after a burglary in Lake Forest.

LAKE FOREST, CA - The Orange County Sheriff's Department officers captured a burglary suspect after three hours of searching, Tuesday. He was found in the area of Heritage Hill Park, according to OCSD spokesperson Carrie Braun.
The suspect broke into a home On Via Lobo at approximately 7:45 a.m., Braun said.
The unidentified suspect was a white man, in his 20s, with red hair wearing a blue shirt and dark blue shorts.

Rancho Canada Elementary School, in use as a daycare over the summer, was placed on precautionary lockdown during the search. "A deputy was at the school during the lockdown," Braun said. That lockdown has since been lifted.
It is unclear what was stolen from the residence, or if anyone was harmed during the burglary as of this report.
