Olympic Athlete Scheduled to appear at Foothill Ranch Boy Scout Olympics
Genai Kerr, Olympic athlete, is scheduled to speak to participants at Troop 639's Cub Scout Olympics in Foothill Ranch, CA.
US Olympic water polo goalie, Genai Kerr, is scheduled to meet and greet participants in the Cub Scout Olympics, hosted by Troop 639, at Borrego Park in Foothill Ranch on July 18th. The event is open to all local Cub Scouts, and any boys 10-years of age or older who are interested in becoming Boy Scouts. Attendees will compete in Scout-themed games for real medals from 10:00 am until noon, and lunch will be provided afterwards.
Mr. Kerr played in the 2004 Athens Olympics and was a member of the Men’s National Water Polo Team for 12 years. Most recently he was named MVP of the 2012 US Open after he helped Newport Water Polo Foundation win the national championship. Mr. Kerr has coached at every level, from age group to Division 1 college, and has run hundreds of camps with Nike 5meter Water Polo Camps. Troop 639 will introduce Genai Kerr during the event’s Opening Ceremony.
