IRVINE, CA — An overturned cement truck prompted authorities to close an Irvine street for several hours Thursday, and residents were advised to steer clear.

The incident was reported at 11:36 a.m. Thursday near Summit Park Drive, at Turtle Ridge Drive, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The incident prompted authorities to close the street for roughly three hours. Residents were urged to only enter the community at Shady Canyon and Summit Park Drive.
