Party With Police At National Night Out In Lake Forest Tuesday

Lake Forest residents can meet their local public safety partners during the National Night Out celebration.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Lake Forest residents, prepare for a National Night Out with the men and women behind the badges of the Orange County Sheriff's Department this Tuesday.

In honor of National Night Out, the Orange County Sheriff's Department is hosting a celebration to bring the community together for games, activities and more.

National Night Out is a night out of the year set aside for communities across America to come together and take a stand against crime, drugs and disorder in their neighborhoods, according to a City of Lake Forest news release.

At the celebration, Lake Forest residents can get to know their local public safety partners, view K-9 demonstrations, get a look at the sheriff's helicopter and be treated to free food and entertainment.

While the community event is free, deputies ask that residents bring items to be donated to Six Points For Kids's annual 2022 School Supplies Drive. Residents who bring items for donation will receive one raffle ticket for each donated item, with a limit of five items.

The City of Lake Forest's National Night Out celebration takes place Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lake Forest Sports Park, 28000 Rancho Pkwy.
