PHOTOS: El Toro's Top Athletes Reveal College Plans

Sixteen seniors signed letters of intent to play collegiate sports Wednesday on National Signing Day.

Sixteen seniors are officially headed to play for college sports teams next year.

Each student-athlete signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning during at a short ceremony in the school quad.

The letter of intent is part of National Signing Day, the first day that high school students can sign binding contracts with the college of their choice.

Only six of the 16 Lake Forest athletes are leaving California. The 10 remaining in-state will represent their high school at a variety of institutions, from small, private campuses to massive, public powerhouses.

Among the highlights are a trio of boys' water polo players headed to UCLA.
