Press Release: Neeki for Lake Forest City Council

Neeki Moatazedi is a life-long resident of Orange County and calls Lake Forest her home. As a Regulatory Planner for Southern California Gas Company, Neeki understands the resources and infrastructure needed for a growing city, as she has planned capital projects larger than the city’s operating budget. At the age of 35, she is energetic enough to fight for the necessary changes to keep Lake Forest a sought-after city by bringing in more tax revenue and balancing both residential and business needs. She believes that education is the foundation for children and supports pushing for a magnet school in the city. With her experience, Neeki plans on reducing city inefficiencies that can save residents time and money. Along with having a strong moral compass she believes that ethics isn’t a choice but a way of life. Her passion and commitment to helping Lake Forest for the better is apparent as she is willing to hear all opinions and not just that of special interests. Her in depth knowledge of capital planning along with her community-minded approach make her a great fit for the city. When she isn’t working, Neeki spends her free time working with various volunteer organizations, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
