Lake 2 Women's Club is holding a Rock & Roll 50s Party on Friday, May 13th
For those of you old enough to have lived in the 50s, or remember your parents talking about them, and young enough to remember the fun we had in those sock-hop days, the following may be of interest to you:
The LF II Sun & Sail Women's Club is holding a Rock & Roll 50s Party on Friday, May 13th at the LF II Club House on Toledo and Lake Forest Blvd.
The revenue from the function helps the Sun & Sail Women's Club provide funds for various projects throughout the year. This particular function will provide funds for the Annual Baby Shower. For those of you unfamiliar with the baby shower, each fall the club works with Family Resource Officers at Camp Pendleton to provide baby showers for first-time expectant mothers.
Cost: $20.00 per person, includes meal and fine dancing
Bar opens: 5:30 p.m.
Dinner served: 6:00 p.m.
Entertainment: Tommy Tassi (he has played here frequently and is a crowd favorite)
