Dana Point Man ID'd In Deadly Thanksgiving Crash
The man was transported to the hospital in serious condition, where he later died, reports indicate.

MENIFEE, CA — An Orange County man died after apparently crashing and rolling off Interstate 215 in the Inland Empire area, according to fire and coroner reports. The crash happened Thanksgiving morning, just north of Newport Road in Menifee, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Department.
Benjamin Ptashne, 29, was pronounced dead at 11:13 a.m. Thursday at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, the coroner's office said. Ptashne was a resident of Dana Point.
Fire officials said they responded just after 8:30 a.m. to the single vehicle rollover on Antelope Road north of Newport Road. Coroner's reports indicated that the vehicle rolled off the eastern side of the nearby interstate.
