Sergio Castro Honored As Lake Forest Deputy Of The Year

This Orange County Sheriff's Department, Lake Forest Deputy, working as the homeless liaison, was honored at the MV Saddleback Elks.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Lake Forest's resident homeless liaison officer was selected as the Lake Forest Police Services Deputy of the Year at the ceremony with Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge.

Sergio Castro was honored at a recent ceremony, held at the Lodge #2444. Elks Past Exalted Ruler Dennis Keffer emceed the evening and Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes, and current Exalted Ruler Mike Klinger, also were in attendance, a spokesperson for the Elks Lodge said.

Lake Forest Chief of Police Services Lt. Brad Valentine presented the honor to Castro.
