Shooting Suspect Arrested In Irvine, Roommate Found Dead
A man was found dead in an Irvine apartment after police received reports of yelling and gunfire in the apartment Monday.
IRVINE, CA — A man was arrested Monday morning after his roommate was found dead an Irvine apartment, the Irvine Police Department said Tuesday.
Police officers responded to reports shortly after 2 a.m. Monday. According to a department spokesperson, the callers asked for help at a home shared by four roommates on Leda, a residential neighborhood in eastern Irvine.
One man was found dead due to gunshot wounds, police said. The victim's name was not released pending next of kin notification. According to the report, when officers arrived they found a man in the building who refused to surrender and pointed a gun at his own head.

David Bohr, 39, was arrested on suspicion of the murder at 5:09 a.m. No other injuries or arrests were reported.
Irvine Police officers sent crisis negotiators to the scene while the SWAT team and firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority evacuated nearby homes and helped the remaining roommates in the apartment safely leave.
