SIG Alert: 57 Northbound Collision Closes Lanes

A SIG alert was reported on the 57 Northbound at the Ball Road East off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. As of 6 a.m. Thursday, lanes are closed, backing up traffic on both sides of the freeway.

At least three cars are involved in the initial collision, including an SUV that is facing the wrong way. A driver inside a small vehicle was reported as not moving by witnesses at the scene.

The SIG alert includes the #2, #3, and #4 lanes for at least 30 minutes.
