South Coast Plaza, Irvine Spectrum Offers Curbside Service
South Coast Plaza, Irvine Spectrum has launched curb-side shopping services while other businesses wait to reopen amid stage 2 plans.
LAKE FOREST, CA —Orange County, and the city of Lake Forest, have initiated the early stage 2 opening plans, as has the entire state of California. What does this mean?
Across the state, curb-side retail business began in full swing, Friday, May 15. Manufacturers and logistics were allowed to return to business, however strict rules apply for other businesses attempting to return to open.
Area malls, such as the Irvine Spectrum and South Coast Plaza, are offering curbside to-go shopping.

"Select South Coast Plaza boutiques and restaurants are participating in SCP 2 GO, a new and convenient curbside shopping service," a spokesperson said. Simply look up which store you wish to order from, call between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Sunday, they said. Then, you will be met at your car with your items.
If you are picking up from Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue, contact them directly.

During phase 2, no customers inside shopping malls or swap meets, car washes, pet groomers, tanning facilities or landscape gardening.
Office based businesses were encouraged to keep workers telecommuting until further notice. Dining in is largely not permitted, outdoor museums and open gallery spaces were expected to remain closed, as were area schools.
Still not permitted in Stage 2 are: personal care services (hair, nail salons, tattoo parlors, gyms and fitness studios; hospitality services such as bars, wineries, tasting rooms and lounges; entertainment venues such as movie theaters, gaming facilities and professional sports; indoor museums, galleries, zoos and libraries; community centers, pools, picnic areas; limited capacity religious services and cultural ceremonies; nightclubs, concert venues, live audience sports; festivals; theme parks; hotels for leisure; higher education.
