More than 150 people showed up Wednesday night at City Hall to honor the visiting Special Olympics team from the Cayman island, in town to participate in the Special Olympics being held next week in Los Angeles.
In addition to the local residents, members of the Marine Corps stopped by to join in the festivities. Members of the City’s Parks and Recreation Committee were also there (Jim Rosenberg and Victor Sheer) along with the Mayor and the City Manager.
Chick-Fil-A and Coca-Coca provided the refreshments.
