Teens Robbed Of Shoes By Gunpoint At Irvine Spectrum Center
Police asked for the public's help Wednesday in locating two suspects who used a handgun to rob four minors in the center's restroom.

IRVINE, CA — Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday in finding two suspects who used a handgun to rob four minors in an Irvine Spectrum Center bathroom earlier this week.
Police said the incident happened at around 9:22 p.m. Monday at the Spectrum Center. The scene was partially captured on surveillance video posted to the Irvine Police Department's Twitter feed.

According to authorities, the minors were followed into the restroom by two suspects who demanded their shoes.

One suspect displayed a handgun, police said.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male between 15 and 20 years old. He stands at 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs roughly 150 pounds.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with a red emblem, a black fanny pack, a gray tank top, black pants and white shoes, police said.
The first suspect was armed with a handgun, authorities said.
The second suspect was also believed to be a Hispanic male between 15 and 20 years old. He stands at 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
The second suspect was described as having black hair, a black shirt, baggy gray pants and white shoes at the time of the robbery.
After the robbery, video footage appeared to show the suspects leaving through the parking lot of the center carrying shoes.
There was no word on whether anyone was injured in the incident.
