No Dangerous Devices Found In Lake Forest Church, Authorities Say

LAKE FOREST, CA — Orange County sheriff deputies completed a search of a church in Lake Forest and found no dangerous devices after receiving a threat made Friday, authorities said.

The threat was received electronically, officials said, and prompted authorities to evacuate Saddleback Church Friday afternoon at around 2 p.m. It was not immediately clear if the threat was directed at the church.

The nature of the threat was not specified by authorities.

Requests to the Orange County Sheriff's Department for comment were not immediately returned.
