Under Dog Rescue Holds Fund Raiser at Jewelry Box

Help support a local animal rescue group

Have Fun, Help Dogs & Save Money on Great Jewelry: Join Us Thursday, October 12th!

Underdog Rescue is having a fund raiser on Thursday, Oct 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Jewelry Box at 21771 Lake Forest Drive, next to Bagels and Brew. Christine and Jack, owners of The Jewelry Box, are dedicated dog devotees; they and their spouses love canines and feel strongly that saving the life of a furry friend is the only way to go.

Christine and Ken rescued Bella from an OC shelter in 2013. She has become a loving member of their family and travels all over California with them.

Jack and Phyliss rescued Charlie in 2014 just as her days were becoming numbered. She was a raggedy streeter who’d been abandoned; her new life involves her own place on the sofa and lots of belly rubs,

Underdog Rescue saves dogs’ lives virtually every day. As soon as Christine and Jack heard about this great organization, they chose to support them in an effort to save as many underprivileged pooches as possible.
Underdog Rescue is a very special group that works with dogs that just can’t get adopted through the Orange County shelter system. Their team includes veterinarians and trainers who give these dogs the extra level of care and support they need and then help them find appropriate, safe forever homes. This is important, life-saving work that is funded entirely by donations.

Well-behaved, short leashed dogs are invited to join their owners in the store. We’ve got all kinds of fun stuff for them to do: there will be a photo booth with props and printed photos of your pups, Alice’s Gourmet Wonderland a Doggie Treat & Frozen Yogurt Food Truck will be parked in front of the store, Hand 2 Paws Certified Canine Massage will be offering mini massages & well-being for dogs and Woof Pack OC will be available for all your dog training questions.

Almost everything in the store will be 15% off, and 10% of the sales will be donated to Underdog Rescue.
