Upcoming Events

Things to do in the next few weeks...

There are so many good things happening in the City in April I wanted to discuss some of the highlights in length -

Apr 14 – Pop Up City Hall (8 am, Lake 1 Clubhouse)

We’re introducing a new concept, the “pop-up City Hall”, and our first demonstration will be at the Lake 1 garage sale. The purpose is to take City Hall to the people. We intend to have one or two per month, at community events and gatherings. There will be City literature, a place to offer comments, and an opportunity to download our city mobile apps if you haven‘t already. The Mayor will be there too. Come by and say hello.

If you have a large community event coming up in the future, let me know and I'll try to schedule a "pop-up City Hall" for your event.

This year we are offering an advanced class, for the kids who completed the basic class. Sign up now. Enrollment is limited to 26 and it’s filling up.

Apr 28 – Special Needs Resource Faire (9 am, Sports Park)

This is the third year we’ve put on the Resource Faire. Last year we had so many participants we were bursting at the seams. It’s an essential place to go if you have a person with special needs. Dozens of vendors will be there and you’ll have a chance to join a new Special Needs Committee.
