Here’s an update on issues of importance in the City.
PARKING PROBLEMS
The City became aware that some multifamily apartment complexes were leasing parking spaces, in violation of our Municipal Code. The problem is that by leasing out these spaces, apartment residents are forced to find parking on the streets, sometimes creating problems in the local neighborhood. The city sent a letter to every multifamily property manager and is beginning to enforce the Municipal Code.
Parking problems on Ridge Route revealed a loophole in the city code and we are busy fixing this loophole.

My study of Osterman indicated a dearth of parking signs so the City will soon increase the number of signs and the enforcement.
