Authorities are searching for a group of vandals on e-bikes responsible for a variety of damage at the Great Park in Irvine.
IRVINE, CA — Police are on the hunt for a group of vandals on e-bikes responsible for a variety of damage at the Great Park in Irvine.
The most recent incident, according to police, happened around July 24, when skid marks believed to belong to at least one e-bike were left on the ground in a bathroom that had been vandalized.

Images posted on Instagram by the Irvine Police Department showed a destroyed toilet that vandals either set a firework in or destroyed with something like a baseball bat, police said.

“We’re noticing that there are very distinct tire marks at all of these incidents. Either skid marks or tire marks indicating the e-bikers were present during this activity … so we definitely believe this is tied to e-bikes,” Police Department spokesperson Kyle Oldoerp told KTLA.
