'Very Friendly' Lost Dog Found In Lake Forest Wednesday

The little pup was found in Lake Forest near Rockfield and El Toro on Wednesday night and does not have a microchip.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A sweet-faced dog is searching for his home after he was found in Lake Forest Wednesday evening.

The dog was found without a license or a microchip by Lake Forest resident Sara Mitchell, who told Patch that when she came across the dog on Rockfield and El Toro, he walked right up to her.

"Found this little guy this evening," she said. "I think he's been wandering around for a while. He's very friendly — hasn't barked once."

"[His] eyes look cloudy, so he could possibly be blind... he didn't see the food I held in front of his face until I touched it to his nose, but seemed to track me when my body casted a shadow."
