ANAHEIM, CA — Want to be among the first to experience the new Star Wars fully immersive experience? Advance tickets are now on sale for the hyper-reality adventure "Star Wars: The Secrets Of The Empire" that will debut at Downtown Disney on Friday, January 5. The 30-minute long experience is shown in ILMxLab, created by The Void and is described as a "hyper-reality experience."

This is just like being a part of the Star Wars universe. Inside the "theater" you will see, touch, smell and experience being inside the multi-dimensional "movie."

Tickets are now on sale, and going fast, for this highly anticipated hyper-reality experience, Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, debuting at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando on December 16 and Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim on January 5.

"'The Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire' will transport guests deep into the beloved Star Wars universe allowing them to walk freely and un-tethered throughout the multi-sensory experience with friends and family," event promoters said.

Visitors will arrive in groups of four, as "teams" that will go undercover as Stormtroopers to capture Imperial intelligence vital to the budding rebellion’s survival.

“We are so excited about this magical collaboration between three boundary-pushing companies in the burgeoning out-of-home VR entertainment sector,” says Curtis Hickman, co-founder and chief creative officer at The VOID. “We can’t wait to share the experience of hyper-reality with everyone.”

Cliff Plumer, CEO of The VOID, showed the "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" trailer at the Disney Accelerator Demo Day 2017.

"When you step into The VOID, you enter an extraordinary multi-sensory adventure and see incredibly realistic images," Plumer told audiences at the Accelerator Demo Day. "In real life, friends bring friends, beyond what you see and hear, you touch walls, pick up objects, feel damp, cold, heat, feel the rumbling as you are lifted in a space craft and are rewarded with scents that reflect the action around you."
