Results from last quarter's ALF system

The City’s Ask Lake Forest system allows people to contact city staff and ask questions, report issues, etc. During the most recent quarter here are the highlights –

  • Overall decrease of 12% compared to previous quarter.
  • Biggest concerns this quarter were Street Maintenance (14%), Parking Enforcement (11%), and Graffiti (10%).
  • Combining both quarters, the biggest concerns were Parking Enforcement, Street Maintenance, Code Enforcement, and Traffic/Parking Issues.

In the not too distant future, the City will put the ALF system on your mobile device and this will allow for much better communication between residents and staff. You'll be able to take a picture of what's bugging you and send it to the city which will capture the GPS coordinates. You'll be able to check city ordinances to be sure that you're correct (can they really play their TV that loud after 8 pm?). We hope to roll out the first version by late summer.
