LAKE FOREST, CA — A rainy morning and slick roads were contributing factors in a single-car crash that injured a woman, Thursday. The woman was driving a Jeep near a business district at Town Center Drive South and Baker Ranch Road in the city of Lake Forest where the rollover occurred, officials say.

Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m., Capt. Greg Barta tells Patch. There, a minivan had careened off the road and rolled on its side.

One woman in her 20s was injured, Orange County Fire Authority Captain Greg Barta told Patch.

No other vehicles were involved.

The crash was in a commercial area, according to Anderson, who advised residents to avoid the scene until after it is cleared by a tow truck.

Weather played a part in this collision, according to Anderson.

"The most important thing people can do is slow down and be aware of the driving hazards when we have rain and other weather," Anderson said. "Give yourself extra time to get where you're going."
