On Sunday the Sun and Sail Women's Club held a baby shower for 8 Marines and their wives who are members of the Law Enforcement Battallion at Camp Pendleton whom the City supports. Members of the club adopted one of the 8 families and shopped for their needs, using funds raised by the Club. Among the many gifts were cribs, strollers, and plenty of diapers. The luncheon was a great celebration.
The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month starting at 6 pm (social hour) with the business meeting starting at 7 pm. Location is Lake 2 (Sun and Sail Club) clubhouse.
