Wrong Way Crash, Two Killed On I-5 Freeway Thursday
A wrong-way collision between a Jaguar and motorcycle killed two people, California Highway Patrol officers said.

SANTA ANA, CA — Two were killed in a wrong-way vehicle crash between a motorcycle and a Jaguar sedan Thursday morning, California Highway Patrol said.
The Jaguar was going the wrong way in traffic, according to CHP, and the motorcycle was heading northbound in the carpool lanes when they collided, CHP officer Florentino Olivera told NBC4.
All northbound lanes of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway just south of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Santa Ana were closed as officials investigated the scene.

Information was not immediately available on the gender or identities of the fatally injured people.
All northbound lanes were closed at Main Street in the aftermath of the crash. Some lanes were reopened about two hours afterward. By 8 a.m., all but the HOV lane had been reopened.
