You Can Get a Big Mac on Bridger Once Again
Also: PTO application, El Toro's winter formal court and a fatal crash by Cook's Corner.

Merry Tuesday. Here are some odds and ends:
- When we asked Assistant City Manager David Belmer over the phone yesterday, "What's going on?" he said, "McDonald's." The fast-food joint outpost at 23861 Bridger Rd., right off El Toro and the 5 freeway, is open for business after an extended closure for renovation. The construction isn't finished, Belmer said, but they've started serving filets of fish and the like again.
- El Toro High Schools' newest royalty was crowned at winter formal over the weekend. The court, as listed in the school's daily bulletin: "Sophomore prince and princess, Josh Santos and Cami Rebollo; junior  prince and princess, Neal Eichenberg and Yasmin Kakar; winter formal  king and queen, Jose Bernal and Allison Walker."
- The coroner announced yesterday that a man died in a car crash just outside of city limits Sunday in Trabuco Canyon, at the corner of Live Oak Road and El Toro Road, by Cook's Corner. The wreck happened at 9:06 p.m., and the deceased has not yet been identified. The O.C. Register says the car was a 2010 Acura ZDX that hit a tree.
- The Intertek company previously had "photoltaic/solar module testing" labs only in Lake Forest and in Shanghai but recently announced it would be opening another one in Menlo Park, CA.
- The Parents-Teacher Organization is seeking board members for the 2011-12 school year. To nominate yourself or learn more, e-mail Vicki Zoradi at evp@lakeforestelementaryschool.com.
