La Mesa Plans First Pride Event for Summer 2027 (santeepulse.com) — La Mesa is gearing up for its first-ever Pride celebration, tentatively planned for June 2027 in the La Mesa Village area near Allison and Palm. The City Council has committed $15,000 and is working with Diversionary Theatre, with supporters saying the event will give LGBTQ+ residents a local gathering and boost nearby shops and restaurants as details are finalized.
3. The bill's author, whose district includes La Mesa, says the goal is to give families straightforward health information at the moment they order, not to restrict choices.
