Witnesses said he had pale skin and red hair down to his shoulders, and was wearing a gray dress suit, a hat and sunglasses.
A well-dressed man with long red hair claimed to be armed with a concealed gun and bomb Wednesday while robbing a Rolando-area bank.
The thief, who appeared to be in his 30s, handed a demand note to a teller at the U.S. Bank branch office in the 6100 block of El Cajon Boulevard about 11 a.m., according to San Diego police.
No weapons were seen, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said. The bandit fled the area to the south on 60th Street in a white older- model car, possibly a Toyota.
Witnesses said he had pale skin and hair down to his shoulders, and was wearing a gray dress suit, a hat and sunglasses.
