Body Found In Home In Unincorporated La Mesa
Chula Vista police found the body during a welfare check at the home in the unincorporated area of La Mesa, the sheriff's department said.
LA MESA, CA — A man's body was discovered Tuesday at a home in unincorporated La Mesa prompting an investigation by San Diego County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives.
Chula Vista police found the body during a welfare check just after 1 p.m. in the 4400 block of Carmen Drive in the unincorporated area of La Mesa, according to sheriff's Lt. Thomas Seiver.
Deputies blocked off the street to conduct an investigation, which was expected to last into Wednesday morning, Seiver said.

The man's name was not released. No other information was immediately available.
