Double Murder-Suicide: 3 Found Dead At Vista Home: UPDATE
- The gunshot victims -- two men and a woman -- apparently died in a double murder-suicide. They were in their 50s.

- Awet Yosief Habtezghi, 38, was walking along South Santa Fe Avenue when he was struck near Montgomery Drive around 7:45 p.m. Friday.

Construction Site Killing: Oceanside Man Pleads Not Guilty To Murder
- Mikhail Schmidt, 30, faces 26 years to life in prison if convicted in the stabbing death of a plumber at a construction site in Oceanside.
- BREAKING: At least one person has reportedly been injured Tuesday in a house fire in the 2900 block of Ridgefield Ave. in Carlsbad.
9 Military Officers, Including Coronado Admiral, Indicted On Corruption-Related Counts
- Among other charges, Rear Adm. Bruce Loveless of Coronado was charged with conspiracy to commit bribery and bribery.
- Among other charges, Jonathan Romero Miranda, 34, was booked into jail on suspicion of burglary, robbery and making criminal threats.

Guilty: Solana Beach Kidnapping Suspect Pleads Guilty
- Jack Henry Doshay, 24, a member of an affluent Fairbanks Ranch family, will be sentenced to 10 years and four months in state prison in May.
Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Blaze At El Cajon Home
