Financial literacy classes for high school and college students will be available, starting with a class on financial planning. They will be taught by a California Society of Certified Public Accountants representative.
There will be one class a month through May. Other topics include:
- March 22: Budgeting - Making the Most of your Money
- April 26: Good Debt, Bad Debt - Using Credit Wisely
- May 24: Your Career - Doing What Matters Most
"San Diego County Library is determined to help San Diegans make informed financial decisions," said Branch Manager Amanda Heller. "These courses are designed to encourage teens and young adults to start off on the right foot when it comes to their finances."
