Workshop Presenters
Sharon Axe has over 30 years of experience as a primary grade classroom teacher and preschool director. She incorporates sign language and experiential learning in her classroom to motivate and inspire young learners in a dynamic and creative environment. Sharon has a California Elementary Teaching Credential and has completed graduate level coursework in deaf education.
Jimmie Drummond has over 20 years experience as a classroom teacher and reading specialist in both public and private school. Her expertise lies in language arts and early intervention strategies for reading. She loves challenging gifted students to reach their potential and helping struggling students to be successful. Jimmie has a California Elementary Teaching Credential, a Language Arts Specialist Credential and a Masters Degree in Reading Education from San Diego State University.
