Firefighters Work to Extinguish Fire at La Mesa McDonald's
Breaking: An eastbound lane on Fletcher Parkway was closed between Baltimore Drive and Marengo Avenue.

LA MESA, CA – Heartland Fire & Rescue firefighters were working early Friday to extinguish a fire at a La Mesa McDonald's.
The fire broke out around 5 a.m. in the 8000 block of Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa. Due to the fire, the third eastbound lane on Fletcher Parkway was closed between Baltimore Drive and Marengo Avenue, according to a message from the city of La Mesa. On social media fire officials asked people to avoid the area for two hours.
