Golf fundraiser benefits new Foundation

Coldwell Banker West, one of San Diego County’s largest real estate companies with seven offices and more than 500 agents, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with owner Peter Mendiola and its first annual Charity Golf Classic, a fundraising golf tournament and after-golf evening reception, on Thursday, April 20 at the Salt Creek Golf Course, 525 Hunte Parkway, Chula Vista.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the recently established Coldwell Banker West Foundation, a nonprofit under management by the San Diego Foundation. The mission of the Coldwell Banker West Foundation is to provide charitable funds for effective philanthropy advancing social change, civic engagement and the common good in the local community.

Donation to play golf is $95 per player, which includes green fees, cart, raffle tickets, food and beverages on the course, prizes, player awards, lunch and after-golf awards reception. Check-in begins at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The golf tournament will follow a scramble format. The after-golf awards reception starting after the tournament will include food, live music, dancing and a silent and live auction.
