Grossmont Girls Blank Helix in Second League Soccer Game
Hillers score three times in second half to notch second win in as many games. Scotties are 0-2 in league competition.
Grossmont High School defeated host Helix Charter High School 3-0 in girls soccer Tuesday evening, with all three goals coming in the second half. Junior Kylie Dick, senior Bree Ciaccio and senior Becca Lancia scored for the Foothillers (7-4-2), who kept their league record an unbeaten 2-0. Coached by John Neill, the team next plays Thursday at West Hills in Santee. The Highlanders (0-9-1) fell to 0-2 in league. Coached by Leslie Platz Gray, the Scotties next host Granite Hills of El Cajon on Thursday.
