Gallery: Grossmont Hosts Ramona for High-Caliber Swim Meet

Bulldogs were led by junior Garrett Glaudini, who competed in U.S. Olympic Trials last summer.

With their U.S. Olympic Trials entrant Garrett Glaudini swimming in several events, Ramona High School traveled to Grossmont High on Thursday for a swim meet and diving competition. Jolyn Yanez coached her Bulldogs while Doug Selby led the Hillers. Scripps Ranch High School also took part.

First-place finishers for Grossmont were Julian Reisch, 200-yard freestyle varsity; Paolo Quattrociocchi, 100-yard IM JV; Elisabeth Leimbach 50-yard freestyle JV; Megan Haar, 50-yard freestyle varsity; Nicholas Gagnon, 50-yard freestyle varsity and 100-yard freestyle; Daniel Parker, 50-yard butterfly and 50-yard backstroke; Grace Hartman, 100-yard freestyle; Brad Justicce, 100-yard freestyle JV; Sierra Jones, 50-yard backstroke JV; Nicole Tex, 100-yard breaststroke; Bryce Johnson, Paolo Quattrociocchi, Evan Popp and Brad Justicce, 400-yard freestyle relay JV; and Julian Reisch, Thomas Wegelin, Nathan Bailey and Nicholas Gagnon, 400-yard freestyle relay varsity.

First-place finishers for Ramona were Daniella Talento, 100-yard IM JV; Gina Lucas, 200-yard IM varsity and 100-yard freestyle; Garrett Glaudini, 200-yard IM varsity and 100-yard backstroke; Brandon Powell, 100-yard butterfly and 500-yard freestyle varsity; Serena Lopez, Paige Parham, Cammi Nabors and Daniella Talento, 200-yard freestyle relay JV.
