La Mesa City Council Candidate Forum
The League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women are sponsoring a La Mesa City Council Candidate Forum on Oct 18

(SAN DIEGO October 6, 2016) — The League of Women Voters of San Diego announced it will host a forum featuring the candidates for La Mesa City Council on Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30PM at the La Mesa Police Department’s Community Room. The candidates are Colin Parent and incumbents Ruth Sterling and Kristine Alessio. Issues in La Mesa include economic growth, a new library, medical marijuana, a climate action plan and homelessness.
“The League of Women Voters’ mission is to inform citizens in public policy,” says President Jeanne Brown. “This forum will give voters valuable information to make an informed decision this election season.”
