Masked Gunman Robs La Mesa Gas Station

A gunman wearing a ski mask robbed a La Mesa gas station convenience store early today, police said.

The robbery at the Arco am/pm at 3775 Massachusetts Ave. was reported at 4:30 a.m., according to La Mesa police.

The gunman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the business' cash register, police said in a statement.

He was described as black, in his 30s and 5 feet 10, last seen wearing a red jacket and ski mask.
