Mount Miguel Covenant Village employees recognized for excellence

Getgen and Bule receive Inspiration Awards from Covenant Retirement Communities' CEO

During the 2017 Inspiration Awards Ceremony in St. Charles, Ill., two employees at Mount Miguel Covenant Village – one of 15 retirement communities administered by Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) – received Inspiration Awards for demonstrating excellence in service standards and behaviors. Janette Getgen received the award in the Safety category and Margo Bule received the award in the Common Purpose category. Both awards were presented by Terri Cunliffe, CEO of CRC.

“CRC is committed to creating joy and peace of mind for residents and their families by providing a better way of life,” said Cunliffe. “This year’s recipients demonstrate how creating a culture of exceptional service can improve the quality of life for the people who live and work at a Covenant Retirement Community.”

Getgen is an administrative assistant at Mount Miguel Covenant Village. “Janette embodies our Inspired to Serve culture by making everyone feel they are the most important person in the world at that moment,” said Rich Miller, executive director at Mount Miguel Covenant Village. “Residents describe her as gracious, organized, and caring. The award is well-deserved.”

Bule is the resident services director at Mount Miguel. “Margo’s energy and enthusiasm creates joy for the people who live and work at our community,” said Miller. “It’s not in her DNA to do things with mediocrity. She goes the extra mile with everything she does. She is a great ambassador for Inspired to Serve.”

Getgen and Bule are two of nine CRC employees nationwide who received Inspiration Awards. CRC’s Inspiration Awards are presented annually to employees who demonstrate excellence in the service standards and behaviors that support the organization’s Common Purpose: to create joy and peace of mind for residents and their families by providing a better way of life.
