Mount Miguel JROTC Conducts Memorial Day Ceremony

Also participating in the morning event was the Mount Miguel High School band, which played the National Anthem.

On Wednesday, May 25, the Mount Miguel High School Army JROTC battalion conducted its Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 0630 hours. Battalion Commander Adam Cruz led the cadets into position and Battalion Deputy Commander Geraldine Cabreros conducted the speech for the ceremony.

Also participating in the morning event was the Mount Miguel High School band, which played the National Anthem. The ceremony also included the raising of the American flag and the playing of “Taps.”

The Mount Miguel High School Army JROTC instructors include Major Bachmann, Sergeant First Class Golden and First Sergeant Bennett. Together, they work to teach cadets leadership skills and discipline. They provide knowledge on topics ranging from first aid to navigational skills through various forms of training within the program.
