The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR), a 2,500-member trade group for San Diego-area realtors, recently raised $7,500 for three charities, including Unity 4 Orphans, South Bay Community Services and HomeAid San Diego. The donations represented proceeds from PSAR’s first-ever Realtor Games, a June 23 fundraiser attended by 200 people at Scobee Park, Chula Vista.
The Realtor Games featured 12 teams of PSAR members competing in mental and physical challenges, including such agility activities as sack race, free-throw contest, balloon catch and cornhole, as well as mental games, including spelling bee, board puzzle and Realtor Feud, a game resembling TV’s “Family Feud” show.
The Realtor Games were organized by PSAR’s South County Charity Committee, co-chaired by Kim Peterson and Angie West. Lead event organizer was Robert Cromer, 2016 PSAR Charity Committee chair.
