SDSU Construction Courses Help Build Careers

SDSU's College of Extended Studies is offering a wide variety of online construction certificate programs this semester.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies is helping individuals build their construction careers by offering a wide variety of online certificate programs for an industry that is powering California’s job growth, according to a recent story in the Los Angeles Times.
These SDSU construction programs enable students to be better prepared to succeed at their chosen profession, learn from the experts in various fields of construction, and advance within their current trade or transition into a new career.
The online professional certificate programs include Civil Sitework, Construction Estimating, Construction Practices, and Construction Supervision. These programs are all designed to provide practical on-the-job skills that students can use right away. Online courses begin Monday, Sept. 8, with the last day to register being Monday, Sept. 15.
These programs are authorized by SDSU’s College of Engineering and offered in cooperation with the Associated General Contractors of America, allowing students receive professional development units from an accredited university.
