Shed Fire Reported in La Mesa

Firefighters knocked down a fire in a shed attached to a La Mesa residence on Saturday.

Crews from Heartland Fire & Rescue and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department were dispatched at 3:41 p.m. to the 4600 block of 67th Street near Valencia Drive, according to Heartland officials.

Fire officials reported the blaze as knocked down nine minutes later, a fire dispatcher said.

No injuries were reported, she said.
