What's your diabetes risk? Find out and receive free Chick-fil-A

San Diego-area Chick-fil-A restaurants partner with American Diabetes Association for `Alert Day'

San Diego-area Chick-fil-A restaurants, including the Grossmont Chick-fil-A at 8200 Parkway Dr., La Mesa, will host an “Alert Day” promotion on Tuesday, March 27 in partnership with the American Diabetes Association (ADA).

The ADA’s Alert Day is observed annually to encourage people to determine their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by taking the ADA’s free online risk test at www.diabetes.org/alertday. The risk test takes less than 60 seconds to complete and consists of seven questions covering such topics as family history, weight and age.

Any guest who visits a local Chick-fil-A restaurant between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, and shows a completed risk test, either a paper printout from the website page or shows an electronic copy on a smart phone, can receive free Chick-fil-A Grilled Nuggets (eight count). No personal information or test results will be collected. Limit of one free entree per customer, and offer is valid only on Tuesday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Chick-fil-A’s Grilled Nuggets have been approved by the ADA as a healthy eating option for people with diabetes.
