EAST BAY, CA — BART riders faced delays up to 45 minutes Tuesday morning because of a train that became disabled at the Orinda station.
The problem started around 7 a.m. and prompted trains coming to and from Antioch to have to single-track around the disabled train.
By 8:30, the delay had been reduced to about 10 minutes for trains headed in the San Francisco direction.
