
The boys and girls lacrosse teams at Acalanes High School will both go for North Coast SectionĀ Division IIĀ titles on Friday.
The girls squad, which is seeded number one in the tournament, will take on second-ranked S.F. University, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday at Acalanes High.
The Acalanes girls have compiled a 16-5 record, including eight wins in a row. S.F. University is 16-3. The two teams have not met yet this season.
The Acalanes boys team, which is ranked second in the tournament,Ā will do battle against top ranked Marin Catholic, beginning at 4 p.m. at Dominican University of California.
Acalanes began the season with a 1-3 record, but they've won 17 of their past 18 games for an 18-4 record. Marin Catholic is 17-6. They defeated Acalanes, 12-11, when the two squads met on March 5.
