Art & Wine Fest: Day 1
All roads lead to the Patch Booth - at least if you're looking for the elusive Patch X - after a great first day and beginning of last day of Lafayette Art & Wine Festival.
Great first day at the festival with lots of old Patch pals and new ones swinging by for a look, a button, or a Patch refrigerator magnet. Those dang things were flying out of there.
Lamorinda Patch Advertising Manager Elizabeth Jensen never stopped, blowing up balloons and charming the hordes of local kids hovering around her candy bowl. Piedmont Patch Editor Amy Jeffries swung by to lend a hand and help tell a curious public about Patch - though an astounding number of you already knew what we were about, we were gratified to see.
I burned through one computer, connected with a ton of people looking for clues to the Patch X (all roads lead back to the Patch Booth, people) and reconnected with a lot of "old friends" who came by to talk about past stories, current issues, and the future.

That's it, we're back at it again today, located right in front of Postino and within a brief walk of the Kettle Korn and free massage concessions. Remember, if you want the one we're offering - a massage at the Lafayette Park spa - take a picture of the Patch X and submit it along with your addition to the tagline: "Patch puts the X in ________."
And have a great rest of the weekend.
